Why a Group Trip Works Here

The math is simple. 387 sites means a group of 10, 20, or more isn’t going to strain the property the way it would at a small 40-site campground. Most of those sites are long grass pull-through, which matters when you’ve got several rigs arriving within the same window and nobody wants to spend an hour backing each one into place. Premium pull-through sites with pads up to about 100 feet are available too, for the bigger rigs a rally group usually has at least a few of.

We’re also not age-restricted and not a golf-and-equestrian luxury resort like some of the other well-known names in the Ocala market. That matters for a mixed group, because a club rally or a caravan of friends rarely fits neatly into one demographic. Ocala Sun works for the retired couple in a 40-foot fifth wheel and the younger family in a travel trailer parked two sites down, without either one feeling out of place.

A Base Close to Real Things to Do

Between rally activities, a lot of clubs like having somewhere real nearby, not just a parking lot with hookups. Silver Springs, with its glass-bottom boat tours, and Ocala’s horse country, branded the “Horse Capital of the World,” are both a short drive from here.
