We’re not a 55+ community, and we’re not trying to be. That’s a real difference if you want a seasonal stay that doesn’t feel like it’s sealed off from everyone else.

What Makes a Season Here Different

A lot of seasonal-focused RV parks in Central Florida lean hard into a quiet, retiree-only atmosphere. Ocala Sun doesn’t. We’re an all-ages resort, which means your season here happens alongside families passing through for a weekend, groups on a rally, and other seasonal guests, not in a sealed-off 55+ section of the property. Some snowbirds prefer that mix. If you’d rather have a fully quiet, slower-paced seasonal setting, that’s a fair preference, and it’s worth knowing upfront that’s not exactly what Ocala Sun is.

What Ocala Sun does offer for a season-long stay:

• A heated pool that’s genuinely usable well outside of peak summer, which matters when you’re here for months, not days.

• A gated dog park, useful for a seasonal stay where your dog is settling in for the long haul too, not just a weekend visitor.

Booking a Seasonal Stay: What to Actually Expect

A few property rules worth knowing ahead of a longer stay: one habitable RV plus up to two non-habitable vehicles per site, a 10 mph speed limit throughout the property, and quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. None of it is unusual, it’s just easier to plan around in advance than to discover mid-season.
